At just 17, Freya Kemp was the youngest member of Team England's women's cricket squad at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Kemp took six wickets her medium-fast bowling as England reached the bronze medal match where they lost to New Zealand.

Despite her youth, the all-rounder had already made waves for Southern Vipers, for whom she averages 49 with the bat and 16.40 with the ball.

Kemp made her Sussex debut aged 14 and has since gone from strength to strength, being selected by the Southern Brave in The Hundred.

Her form brought a call-up to England A against South Africa before the left-armer made her England debut against South Africa on the eve of Birmingham 2022.

Cricket
Cricket is one of the quintessential English sports, which was first included in the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
