Sophie Lewis is set for her return to the Commonwealth Games, having earned team pursuit bronze at Birmingham 2022.
Lewis teamed up with Dame Laura Kenny, Josie Knight and Maddie Leech to win bronze in London, in the same velodrome where she took her first steps into the sport.
The Hertfordshire youngster began her cycling journey at the age of nine and before long she was racing around the Lee Valley VeloPark.
Ten years on, Lewis made her Team England debut on the very same track, arriving in good form after becoming a British champion in the omnium in early 2022 at a National Championships which also brought Madison silver.
In the years since, Lewis has only soared, winning team pursuit bronze at the 2025 European Championships as well as a trio of Under-23 European golds in the team pursuit elimination race and Madison, alongside Team England teammate Maddie Leech.
