Two-time European champion Sarah Davies Smale claimed silver on her return to Glasgow, 12 years after making her Commonwealth Games debut.
Davies Smale secured a return to the podium at the Games with a total of 217kg at Glasgow 2026.
A total of 219kg was the number that sealed her a second continental crown in 2026 as well, sealing back-to-back titles in the 63kg category.
Davies Smale had two previous Commonwealth medals to her name already, snatching gold in the 71kg classification in Birmingham, having previously won 69kg silver at the 2018 Games on the Gold Coast.
The weightlifter is also a World silver medallist.
