Supermum Rebecca Redfern represents Team England for the second time at Glasgow 2026 with a Paralympic gold medal at home.

Redfern won gold in the SB13 100m breaststroke and also swam alongside her brother Matthew in the mixed 4x100m visually impaired freestyle relay at Paris 2024.

Redfern first appeared at Paralympic Games in Rio 2016 aged 16, winning a silver medal in the 100m breaststroke SB13 and delivering another silver medal in the same race at Tokyo 2020. just over a year after her son Patrick was born.

The short-course swimmer debuted at the Commonwealth Games at Birmingham 2022, finishing fifth in the 50m freestyle S13.

She was awarded an MBE for services to young people and the community in Worcestershire in 2024 and also handed freedom of her hometown Droitwich in 2025.
