Most people dream of representing their country at just one sport, never mind two. 

But that dream is reality for Rebecca Bedford, who competes internationally at both badminton and powerlifting. 

The 23-year-old already has three world championship golds to her name in badminton and will be looking to add powerlifting gold to her medal collection at this summer’s Commonwealth Games. 

Bedford recently achieved another British record with a personal best of 91kg after breaking the record twice in 2021 and will want to take that form into Birmingham to make sure she is on the podium once again.
