Renowned for his blistering pace, former Loughborough University captain Phil Burgess competed at his second Commonwealth Games at Gold Coast 2018 and won a bronze medal.
In 2013, Phil started his World Series career as he meant to go on, scoring two tries to defeat South Africa and claim third place. in that year's tournament.
He vice-captained Team GB as part of the silver medal winning squad at Rio 2016.
