Matt Hudson-Smith returns to the city of his Team England debut for his third Commonwealth Games.
Hudson-Smith was just 19 when he helped Team England to 4x400m gold at Glasgow 2014, the first senior international medal of his career.
It was far from the last, as Hudson-Smith returns to Glasgow as the fastest British man ever over 400m and a multiple Olympic, world, and European medallist.
Hudson-Smith is a two-time European champion over a single lap and won Olympic silver in a stunning final at Paris 2024.
He also won silver at Birmingham 2022 on his home track and will look to extend his medal collection as a relay runner at Glasgow 2026.
Athletics and Para-Athletics
In front of a 30,000 strong crowd at the newly refurbished Alexander Stadium, Team England picked up a host of medals at Birmingham 2022.
