Luke Whitehouse is now a treble medallist at the Commonwealth Games following his strong showing at Glasgow 2026.

He added a first medal to his growing collection on his debut for Team England as the men's team claimed silver on Day 1, but better was to come in the floor exercise as he claimed gold.

That was rounded off on the final day of gymnastics competition in Glasgow as he claimed silver in the vault to showcase his undoubted talent.

By the age of 23, the Yorkshireman had won three consecutive European titles on the floor apparatus and became the first man to do so since Italian Franco Menichelli in 1964.

That feat, sealed in Leipzig in 2025, was also unique among British gymnasts across all apparatus.

Whitehouse followed it up with a silver medal at the World Championships in Jakarta, finishing behind teammate Jake Jarman.

Whitehouse made his Olympic debut at Paris 2024, where he finished sixth on the floor and fourth in the team competition.
