Karim Chan made his Paralympic debut at Paris 2024, missing out on a bronze medal by just a centimetre.
Holding a long jump personal best of 6.70m, the Commonwealth debutant, who has two world junior titles to his name, has recovered from a stress fracture in his back that kept him from competing last season.
Chan will represent Team England as the T38 category joins the events at the Games, looking to turn fourth place finishes at the 2023 World Championships and Paralympics into a medal at Glasgow.
His dream job if he wasn’t a professional athlete would be as a mechanic and he says he loves working on cars.
