World bronze medallist Jessie Knight finished fifth in the women's 400m hurdles at Birmingham 2022.

Knight was able to brush off any disappointment of missing out on the medals, however, as she was part of the women's 4x400m relay team that finished third at the World Championships in Eugene later that summer.

It was the perfect response after the agony of having her preparation for Tokyo 2020 disrupted due to having to self-isolate following a positive Covid test on her flight.

Knight went on to secure another British title in the 400m hurdles in 2023 as well as represent Great Britain at the World Championships in Budapest.

A qualified primary school teacher, Knight left the track for the classroom in 2017 before returning to running a year later.
