Jamie Walker has been one of the form players in the bowls world over the last few years.

In 2023, he won the World Indoor Bowls Championship, followed by gold at the 2025 British Bowls Championship, both in singles.

Walker will go in the pairs at Glasgow 2026, looking to improve on his silver in the same event four years ago.

The 34-year-old has a lot of sporting pedigree, particularly in rugby union. He was part of the Northampton Saints academy in his youth and even represented England U18s before a serious shoulder injury forced him to hang up his boots.

Bowls and Para Bowls
It was a hugely successful campaign at Leamington Spa’s Victoria Park and some thrilling games saw Team England leave the plush lawn with six medals including two gold, two silver and two bronze.
