Spotted as a potential elite athlete in 2023, Isabella Haynes has emerged as one of England’s leading para-swimmers.
Born without the lower half of her right leg, Haynes felt she wasn’t held back in the water and won the World School Games title in Brazil aged 14.
In Glasgow, she finished eighth in the women's S9 100m backstroke final and sixth in the women's 100m backstroke.
