A core contracted England Sevens player, Freddie Roddick made his World Series debut in Malaga in January of this year.

Roddick also represented GB Sevens in both Canada and Dubai last year, having played for Musselburgh in the Tennent’s Premiership while studying business and marketing at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.

Roddick, who shares a birthday with fellow Team England star Calum Randle, scored a decisive try for England to claim victory in the bronze final against Australia in Malaga – when England bizarrely only had five players on the pitch.

Rugby Sevens
