Emily Richards returns to Team England for Glasgow 2026.
Richards, née Large, made her Commonwealth Games debut at Gold Coast 2018, reaching the 200m butterfly final, having burst onto the scene with gold in the 200m butterfly at the 2017 World Junior Swimming Championships.
At senior level, the butterfly specialist made the 200m final at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore alongside two silver medals in the race at the 2025 and 2026 Aquatics GB Swimming Championships.
In August 2024, she married fellow swimmer Matt Richards.
