Emily Campbell has made history more times than she can count.

A six-time European champion, the first woman to ever achieve the feat, Campell broke a Games record at Birmingham 2022 as she claimed gold in the women's +87kg category.

Her win saw her beating the defending champion by three kilograms and break her personal best.

The summer before she had added her name to the record books by becoming the first British woman to medal in weightlifting at the Olympics with silver in the +87kg event.

A Leeds Beckett graduate with a degree in Sports Science, Campbell has become a household name in British weightlifting, with world silver and bronze to her name.

She trains at the legendary Atlas gym in Alfreton and, having won a bronze medal on the Gold Coast in 2018, will look to add to that haul at her third Games in Glasgow this summer.
