Commonwealth Appearances

Emily has challenged for national honours since 2009, when she was runner up in the under-11 girls’ singles to Tin-Tin Ho. She later teamed up with Tin-Tin to win doubles national titles in both the Under-15 and Under-18 categories.

Among her other accolades was winning the Junior National Cup in 2016, beating another Commonwealth games team-mate, Charlotte Bardsley, to the gold medal.

In the Senior ranks, she won the national Women’s Doubles title in 2020, alongside Denise Payet, and also claimed a Women’s Singles bronze medal in the same year.

At this year’s Mark Bates Ltd Senior Nationals, she and Charlotte Bardsley were beaten by Tin-Tin Ho & Maria Tsaptsinos in the Women’s Doubles final.

Internationally, Emily helped her French club, St Quentinois, reach the Champions League quarter-finals earlier this year and was on the bench as they reached the semi-finals two years previously.
