A Commonwealth Games debut will mark the highpoint of a whirlwind introduction to wheelchair racing for Ellis Kottas.
The Kent racer was a former competitive swimmer before switching to the track after a spinal cord injury aged 17.
Kottas credits legendary wheelchair racer David Weir as the inspiration behind her rapid rise, with his Weir Archer Academy a key part of her development.
She made her breakthrough on the track in 2022 at the IWAS World Games and is now set for her major Games debut for Team England
