David Goodfield earned a second Commonwealth bronze medal as he helped Team England to third at Birmingham 2022.

The dynamic midfielder was part of the squad that took home bronze on the Gold Coast in 2018, and used all that experience to repeat the feat on home soil four years later.

Goodfield has been a mainstay for England since making his international debut against South Africa in 2017, going on to dominate the 2017/18 year with bronze medals at the 2017 Hockey World League Semi-Final, 2017 EuroHockey Championships and 2018 Commonwealth Games.

The midfielder has also enjoyed plenty of domestic success with Surbiton Hockey Club, winning the men's hockey league three times in four years.

Away from playing, the 2018 Commonwealth Games bronze medallist has shared his skill at hockey clubs and schools all over the country as a sports coach alongside his international career.
