Ashley McKenzie defended his Commonwealth crown with a convincing win over compatriot Samuel Hall at Birmingham 2022. 

Judo made its return to the Commonwealth Games last year and McKenzie ensured he was top of the podium again following his success at Glasgow 2014.

McKenzie has an incredible list of judo medals, but he just missed out on the podium in the 2012 edition of Celebrity Big Brother. 

He finished fifth in that series and went on to star in Celebs on the Farm in 2018 and starring as one of the original cast on Ex on the Beach in 2020. 

McKenzie went to London 2012 and Rio 2016 and has won medals across the globe in the -60kg category.

His record includes bronze medals at both the 2013 and 2018 European Championships and Commonwealth gold at Glasgow 2014.
