Former British champion Amy-Eloise Markovc's finished fourth in the women's 10,000m on her Commonwealth Games debut at Birmingham 2022.

Markovc set a new personal best of 14 minutes 56 seconds at the Alexander Stadium as she narrowly missed out on the medals.

The Stockport-born middle-distance runner grew up in Washington State and was a Husky as part of the University of Washington. 

She is now based on Charlottesville, South Carolina but England will always be home.
