The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games' sports programme was confirmed today.

The 21st edition of the Commonwealth Games, set to take place in Gold Coast City, Australia, sees Basketball replaces judo in the only change from the Glasgow 2014 sports programme.

The sport will be making its first appearance since the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, where both England's men and women won bronze.

The list of sports for the 2018 Games is as follows:

Athletics, aquatics (swimming, diving), badminton, boxing, hockey, lawn bowls, netball, squash, rugby 7's, weightlifting, basketball, shooting, table tennis, cycling (road, track, mountain bike), gymnastics (artistic, rhythmic), triathlon, wrestling.
