Team England has finalised its athlete line-up for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games after naming its men's and women's 3x3 wheelchair basketball teams.
The eight selected athletes combine Paralympians, returning Commonwealth Games bronze medallists and exciting debutants as Team England looks to build on the success of Birmingham 2022, where both the men's and women's teams claimed bronze on the sport's Commonwealth debut.
Three members of the women's bronze medal-winning squad return for a second Commonwealth Games, with Charlotte Moore, Joy Haizelden and Jade Atkin all earning selection for Glasgow.
Haizelden brings a wealth of international experience, having represented Great Britain for more than a decade. A three-time Paralympian, she helped Great Britain win World Championship silver in 2018 before competing at Paris 2024. Earlier this year, she also completed her PhD at the University of Alabama, where she helped the programme claim the 2026 NWBA Intercollegiate title.

Moore also returns after featuring in Birmingham 2022 and has enjoyed an impressive sporting career, previously competing in wheelchair tennis and wheelchair racing before switching to basketball. A three-time Paralympian, she currently plays professionally in Spain with CD Ilunion.
Atkin completes the trio of returning bronze medallists after making her Paralympic debut following Birmingham 2022.
Joining them is Commonwealth Games debutant Lucy Robinson. A two-time Paralympian, Robinson represented Great Britain at both Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 after taking up wheelchair basketball following a hip injury that ended her football career.
The men's squad features four Commonwealth Games debutants, all of whom helped Great Britain secure qualification for Glasgow at the IWBF European Zonal Qualifier earlier this year.

Paralympic silver medallist Peter Cusack leads the side after helping Great Britain reach the podium at Paris 2024.
He is joined by James Hazell, who captained the University of Nottingham to successive BUCS titles while also winning silver at the 2025 FISU World University Championships.
Oscar Knight arrives in Glasgow following a breakthrough senior season, helping Great Britain claim European silver before earning selection for this year's World Championships.
Tom Harvey completes the squad after winning the British Wheelchair Basketball national title with Sheffield Steelers. Harvey was also part of Great Britain's U23 European Championship-winning side in 2024 alongside Knight.
Team England Chef de Mission Jonathon Riall said:
"It's brilliant to be able to announce our final set of athletes for Glasgow 2026.
"Wheelchair basketball was an incredible addition to the Commonwealth programme in 2022, with Team England winning medals in both events, and I'm hopeful the squad can deliver again in Glasgow."
