Towards the end of his final year in his Engineering Master’s at Bath University, you would think Cameron Brooker has enough on his plate.
Instead, the Aylesbury native set a new university championships record in the 200m backstroke and went to the Commonwealth Games as part of a stacked English swimming team, helping the team to win silver in the 4x100m freestyle relay.
He took home bronze in the 50m backstroke at the 2026 GB Swimming Championships, with a time of 24.85.
